That's a title I'm giving most of my other projects, but not school stuff.

Unprecedented.

It's very weird what is going on. I noticed that most of my life was recently consumed by school and that I have been seriously ignoring other parts of my life. Now that I have a week of freedom (read: procrastination), I'm worried that all that I've been ignoring will come back to me. I'm feeling the droplets, I just don't want the bucketloads.

I transfered almost the entirety of my deviations to the scraps department, mainly because I feel they do not represent my current level of 'talent'. I'm reconnecting with illustration this semester, so you'll be seeing more of what I like to do. This, and also much more packaging.

Packaging is something that I really like doing, but I always had a knack at making excessively simple and effective packaging. I like clean lines, bold colors and interesting, yet intuitive folding patterns. I can also see that there's a trend for a lot of designers to use die-cuts, but most have no idea how hindering die-cuts can be if done wrong (which is most of the time). One trend I hate is die-cut typography. It doesn't WORK people! wake up! It makes the packaging so much more fragile and hard to reproduce (which is something that, from a realistic point of view, will never please any producer). Either way, I just felt like ranting this out
